Design, fabricate and test prototypes of aftermarket BMW parts in conjunction with analyzing specific BMW model cars to determine suitability for enhancements in the areas of engine management, suspension tuning and wheel and tire fit. Evaluate design requirements, plans and schematics, developing documentation for fabrication and installation. Involved in repairing and updating of engines and transmission, taking cost into account in design.

Reqs:

• 2+ years of training in Automotive Design or related field (resulting in certificate or master craftsman diploma).
• 1 year in design & execution of solutions in automotive technology.

Experience to include:

• Design and construction of specialized exhaust systems;
• air pollution regulation;
• design and prototype of components.
